These terms cover the Vontekk website and the Vontekk Studio tools that help us run YouTube channels with and for our clients. Paid work is governed by the written agreement between you and Vontekk; where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement wins.
Using the website
You may read and share the website for lawful purposes. Please do not misuse it, attempt to break or probe it, or copy it at scale. How we handle visitor data is explained in our Privacy page.
Vontekk Studio and YouTube connections
Vontekk Studio can connect to a YouTube channel when the channel owner or an authorised manager signs in with Google and approves access. By connecting a channel you confirm that you are allowed to grant that access. Vontekk uses the access only to provide the service you asked for: reading channel analytics and video details and, when a Vontekk team member acts on your instruction, updating video titles, thumbnails and publishing schedules.
You can end the connection at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions or by asking us. Features that use YouTube data are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Your accounts and content
You remain the owner of your channel, videos, thumbnails and other content. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you give us. We will tell you when we make a change to your channel through Studio, and changes can be reverted from within Studio where the tool recorded the earlier version.
Results and analytics
Channel performance depends on many things outside either side's control, including audience behaviour and YouTube's own systems. Figures shown in Studio come from YouTube, can be delayed by a day or two, and are estimates. Tests we run on titles and thumbnails are designed to compare options, and they can come out close or inconclusive.
Acceptable use
Do not use Vontekk tools to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, send spam, or interfere with YouTube's services or policies. We can pause access if a connection is being used in a way that puts a channel or our systems at risk.
Third-party services
Our tools work alongside services run by others, such as Google and YouTube, Calendly and email providers. Their availability and rules are theirs, and they may change.
Intellectual property
The Vontekk website, software and written materials belong to Vontekk or its licensors. Work product delivered to a client under a service agreement is covered by that agreement.
Liability
The website and tools are provided as they are, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, Vontekk is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability for anything connected to the website or Studio is limited to the amount you paid Vontekk in the twelve months before the claim, unless your service agreement says otherwise.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new version. Questions about these terms can be sent through the application page.
