If this sounds like you: you already have a channel and you are publishing, but many videos get a few hundred views, topics feel random, and almost nobody moves from YouTube into a real sales conversation.
There are usually five separate leaks
Topic
The idea may not connect to a problem the right buyer urgently cares about.
Packaging
The title and thumbnail may not make the value clear enough to earn the click.
Retention
The video may take too long to prove it will answer the promise.
Audience fit
The views may come from people who will never buy the offer.
Conversion path
Interested viewers may have no obvious next step that matches their intent.
What I would inspect before making another 10 videos
- Your last 10 long-form topics and which ones attracted the right audience.
- Click-through and first-minute retention on the strongest and weakest videos.
- Whether titles describe a buyer problem or only a broad subject.
- What a serious viewer can do after watching.
- Whether your website actually shows proof and a clear fit path.
Questions I would answer before you start
Should I delete old low-view videos?
Usually not by default. First understand whether they are simply weak performers, off-positioning, outdated or creating a real brand problem.
Do I need a new channel?
Usually no. A stalled channel can often be repositioned by changing topics, packaging and the operating system around future uploads.
Should I optimize for more views or more leads?
You need enough relevant reach to create opportunities, but the audience quality and conversion path matter more than raw views alone.
